Matt Hemmele from Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, Illinois brings us these bowed down trusses.
Matt has his building trades team build six 8ft high 2`x2` wood truss pieces. Then they stacked them on top of each other. They kept the “trusses” looking like wood to make it more artistic looking.
They lit the inside of them with 6 Elation Opti Tri Pars. The rest of the lighting was done with 8 Elation Design Spot 250 Pro fixtures, 8 Source Four ellipsoidal fixtures, 4 Par 64s, and 2 Source Four ellipsoidal fixtures doing the stained glass look.
The rest of the stage was lit with about 50 Source Four par fixtures.
