Lisa Bodkin from New Hope Church in New Hope, MN brings us this super modern stage design.
Inspired by The App Wall, they used 4×4 foot luan Plywood sheets painted the colors to match a logo. Then they hung the panels using “s” hooks. To add dimension they used 4 Ikea pendant lights – 31″ in diameter. In the center, they hung an 8×8 piece of spandex to project images onto.
The dimensions of the set were 22×40 feet. The lighting was done by Audio Logic Systems. They used Behr Primer & Paint all in one.
They got the luan from Home Depot for $8.17 per 4×8 sheet. Home Depot cut the pieces for them. Finally, they bought the spandex from Rosebrand.

I write and speak about the creative process – especially for churches. Call me a resource for the church creative wanting to make their ministry better.
This is a cool design. Is that person painting a picture while the service is being held?
Love the design. What did you use to create your squares?
