This design comes from Jeremiah Ramer from High School Student Ministry at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Simply put, Jeremiah hung some corrugated sheet metal with light-weight chains. He then front-lit them to create some really exciting colors and textures.

Looks great! What is the best way to cut corrugated metal?
We used a table saw with a blade we bought from Lowes that is designed to cut through metal. We cut 2-3 sheets thick at a time. Wear your safety goggles because you'll have crazy sparks.
how did you attach the sheet together? I think I see chains?
Any idea what the total cost was on just the cost on the metal, chains, and anything I can't see.

You're right, we used chains to connect the sheets. We simply lined the sheets up in a stack and drilled holes through all of them at once and used bolts with washers to fasten the chains behind each sheet. Once completed, each column was so light that we used an extension ladder to hang them from a 1×4 painted black We bought everything at Lowes for approximately $350.

Love this design! We’re looking to update our stage & need something that doesn’t rely so heavily on lighting. I think this could work for us. Budget friendly too!
