Looking for a modern artsy stage design? Mark Yakey at Manchester Christian Church knocked another one out of the park with this design. The wavy panels were made from Masonite. You could make them with plywood or foam, though (foam would be lighter to hang). They got the paper lanterns from Ikea, though paperlanternstore.com is a great source for inexpensive paper lanterns.

I write and speak about the creative process – especially for churches. Call me a resource for the church creative wanting to make their ministry better.
are these color foam boards? or are they white and there is a color light in the floor?
Looks to me based on the lighting in the pictures that these are white with colored lights from the ceiling.
Could someone give me the instructions for the waves? Do you have a pattern? What are the dimensions?
Thanks
Also could you give me the size of the lanterns that were used? I need as much info as you can give me. I would like to use this design for our stage for the middle of June.
